Camel Spider!

I've had a little bit of a rough week...

I know, how in the world could the mother of these kids possibly have a rough week?

I know, cute, right!?

But this week I've been extremely exhausted and dizzy, all week and then about Wednesday I started having weird skin pain/numbness/tingling on my stomach... Then Thursday the pain was in my hands and feet too and it was awful to touch anything.... Then about 1am this morning my entire left side went numb, Roger started googling 'signs of a stroke' and I told him to not be ridiculous, I'm to young to have a stroke. I told him that I didn't want to go into the UCC (urgent care center) so we would just call the doc in the morning and try and set me up a same-day appointment. So at 9am Roger called and tried to get me an appointment but when he told them my symptoms they told him to take me to the UCC. So I went. They took me into the little curtain room, the doc examined me, where we discovered how numb I actually was and how weak my left arm had become (I knew I felt weak and numb, but I didn't realize just HOW numb and weak) and they took some blood... Interesting story... While he was getting ready to take my blood I saw something moving on the ground... I said, "What is that!? You have some weird bug on your floor!" He turned around and kicked it across the room. It was a camel spider!

You know, the ones that catch rides to the US with the soldiers coming back from the Middle East.

Anyway, the doc came back in at about 1pm and told me the blood tests were normal and that he wanted to call a neurologist and see if he could get me seen by them and see if they wanted him to run some more tests. So he went and call a neurologist, and came back and told me that, "The neurologist suspects it is a rare neurological disorder that starts with these symptoms and then leads to weakness, usually in the legs, and loss of reflexes."... So he wants me to come back to the UCC tomorrow, and maybe the next day (I'm assuming because it will be the weekend) to check my symptoms and reflexes again, and then we will go from there. So all that this week, mixed with Abby and Kole throwing tantrums right and left, and Ammon fussy from teething, among many other things, has made this week a little rough.
