Action Shots

Here is what we did today!
Played in our backyard! (pretty flower courtesy of the bush in our yard.)
Yes, he wears his sunglasses upside-down.
I love Abby's face in this one.

Do you see the butterfly?

It is so funny to watch Kole jump.
Kole is wearing slippers on his legs.

Abby found some of Roger's uniform tags and she stuck them on her shirt and said, "Look I'm daddy!"

LRS

Starting on Monday, Roger was moved back to LRS (Logistics Readiness Squadron), much to my dismay... I think he is enjoying it, because he gets to be the big boss man (or one of them anyway)... I'm not liking the fact that he works an hour (or more) longer each day and he is now back on a deployment cycle (Blah). In EMS he was in a "non-deployable" position, although they could have still deployed him there if they wanted, but it kept him from being deployed for the last 3-ish years (I know, I know, we've been spoiled). I'm REALLY not looking forward to him leaving again. That's all I'm going to say on that subject for now... But just so you know.
I. Hate. Deployments.
Haha! Anyway, I'm not writing this to complain... Just saying what is up with us.

On a happier note...
Ammon is still growing like a weed! Last time he was weighed (a week ago) he was 13 lbs! He will be 3 months old on the 26th! Makes me sad to see how fast he is growing! It seems like he has grown faster than Abby and Kole did...

Kole is cute as ever! This picture is a proud mommy moment he gave me yesterday.
For those of you who don't know, the base has speakers all over that play the "war alarm" that you always hear in war movies. And every weekday at 7:30am it plays Reveille, at 5:30pm it plays Retreat and the National Anthem, and at 10pm it plays Taps, and Wednesdays at noon the "war alarm" plays for testing. When Retreat and the Anthem play everyone who is driving on base pull over and stop while the music is playing. If you are outside when it plays, military members in their uniform stand at attention, and everyone else put their hands on their hearts. Unfortunately, lots of people don't teach their kids to do that... But Roger and I have.
Yesterday as the National Anthem came on at 5:30 Kole said, "(Gasp!) It's whoosic!!" and he put his hand on his heart until it was over. I was so proud!  :)

Abby, we have discovered, is a shoe shopper! Yikes! She is still going to speech therapy (we call it school) and seems to be improving quickly, and she LOVES it!
And Amy, is just Amy.

That's all for now! Hope all is well with all of you! :)

Shoshone Falls

Yesterday we took a family trip to Shoshone Falls down in Twin Falls.

Shoshone Falls

It's a pretty canyon for sure!
Two little monkeys! (Kole and his little monkey backpack peeking over his shoulder)

It was lots of fun! We sure like our family fun days!

Recent Pictures

Here are just some recent pictures we've taken.

Yes, that IS a bubble wand in his mouth. Don't ask me why Roger snapped a picture instead of telling him to get it out of his mouth... But whatever....

I think it's so cute when dogs tilt their heads like this.

Smiling at daddy!

After a long hard day playing with the kids!

Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day!

The kid's before church this morning

Today Abby went up on the stand in church to sing a song about fathers with the Primary for the first time. She got up there and started to cry! Amy was in the audience crying because she cries whenever our kids do new stuff like that and she was just full of pride over our child crying on the stand. Haha! After the song all the Primary kids walked off the stand and the piano player lady had to show Abby how to get off the stand (apparently Abby has her mother's super amazing sense of direction). Abby is giving her first talk in Primary next week. Should be interesting to see how it goes.

The card Abby made Roger. Can you see the words 'Happy Father's Day'? She wrote it herself!

What's an Anniversary?

Last night I pointed out to Roger that our 5th Anniversary is coming up in about a month and I asked him if we were going to celebrate this one.
He replied, "We celebrate every anniversary!" I gave him a confused look and
he said, "We say Happy Anniversary...."

I rolled my eyes at him and laughed.
He said, "Well, what would we do? Go out to dinner??....... Without the kids?"
I sat there for a minute thinking then said, "Umm.... Maybe we'll just wait and celebrate our 25th."

Haha! Nice huh?
We aren't complaining, because at least Roger will be here for this one.

Happy Father's Day to all you dad's!

Bubbles & Ball

Yesterday we spent some time out in our back yard blowing bubbles....

...And playing ball with Roxy.
P.S. It was definitely not long sleeve weather, so don't ask me why Abby had long sleeves on...
She dresses herself.

Easter- Long Overdue

Well, here are (finally) a few of the pictures from Easter.
Peeling the wrapper off a chocolate egg...
Peeling the wrapper off the GIANT chocolate egg... Or so he THOUGHT... Must have been really disappointing to discover it was just a hard boiled Easter egg.

CANDY!!

Egg hunting!
