October!

Here are our pictures from October!
We started a rabbit farm! We had 3 to begin with.
Easter (aka Houdini), Hoppy, Lucky.
Easter got out and lead the way for Hoppy. Unfortunately, once they escaped our yard Hoppy met his fate. But he taught the kids a lesson. Sometimes our friends do things they shouldn't, and if we follow along and do it too it hurts us, spiritually because the Holy Ghost leaves us, and sometimes physically too, like Hoppy.

Some of Abby's homework that I LOVED! For those who don't read first grader, the part I like most says, "I love my mommy because she is so nice."

Abby drew a picture of Thomas S. Monson during General Conference.

Abby and I have a tradition of doing nails for each holiday.

Ammon is a daredevil.

Emma is a daddy's girl!

Chance is happy, happy, happy!

The slugs here are huge!

Abby 6.5 years old.

Kolob 4.5 yrs old.

Ammon 2.5 yrs old.

Emma 6 months.

We went to the Castle of Muskogee for some Halloween fun.

Emma sits and army crawls at 6 months!

Pumpkin carving!

Emma likes to play mechanic under our chair.

Costumes! Abby the cat. Kolob the train. Ammon the dinosaur. And Emma the angel.

Three new rabbits! Bottom is not named yet male. All white one is Roger Rabbit. Black and white one is Kole's new bunny he named Isabelle.

Kole is doing well with homeschooling. He loves doing it too!

Tomatoes

Abby: "What did they use for Ketchup before they had Ketchup?"
Me: "I have no idea. Probably nothing"
Abby: "how do you make tomatoes?"
Me: "Are you kidding me?! You know where tomatoes come from! Tell me... where do tomatoes come from?"
Kole: "Jesus!"
Me: "Not where I was going with that, but true!"

Kole is one of the sweetest kids ever. He is often very helpful and offering to do things for me. He can be a stinker, and very emotional sometimes, but over all, he is a really good kid. All our kids are.

Oct. 5th- Roger offered to go to the store to pick up some diapers for Emma. He came back with THREE packages of cookies, TWO angel food cakes, ice cream bars, and a bag of candy. No diapers.

Oct. 30th- Today I learned that Abby didn't know the difference between smoking cigarettes and illegal drugs, and informed her whole school during red ribbon week that her "grandma and grandpa do drugs".

Nov. 4th- Abby: "I'm never getting married cause I think kissing is disgusting! And what if my husband is weird like dad!?!?!"

Nov. 4th- We are on a long drive and Roger and I are reading couples questions and answering them to keep entertained and I read, "Is there anything you feel we have a hard time discussing? If so, why do we have a hard time discussing them?" And from the back of the car Abby butts in and yells up to us, "BECAUSE YOU HAVE TOO MANY KIDS!!"

Circus

Abby got a free ticket to the circus at school so Roger took her and Kole to it.

They said there were bears that walked on their hands and rode motorcycles and everything!

Friday Ammon only had one pee accident the whole day! And he even did #2 in the potty! Yay! But then the weekend came, and I got lax because Roger was home so he would help too. Or not so much. Yesterday when Ammon had a #2 accident in his undies I asked Roger to clean him up while I was working on dinner. So Roger took off the dirty undies and put clean ones on. Left the crap all over his butt and legs!!!! I was not amused.
And Ammon just washed his face with toilet paper dipped in pee/toilet water.

Abby's feet have been really smelly for the past few days I've been makin her go and wash them all the time and then I said, "maybe it's time for new shoes." And she replies, "yeah! I've only been wearing these socks for a few days." Then I realized, there have been none of her socks going through the laundry! She had been wearing the same socks for about 2 weeks!! No wonder they smelled!!!

I got lucky with Kole. He is a pretty tidy kid for the most part, so we've never had the stinky bathroom. But, Ammon... Oh, Ammon... Since he's learned he can aim it, he has enjoyed shooting up the whole bathroom. Including Kole.

Emma has officially made a record of going one month seizure free!

Potty Training!

I have been busy this week potty training Ammon. It's been interesting (as potty training always is!). He's doing alright with it. An accident here and there and still haven't had any success with getting #2 done in the potty, but we are sticking with it.
Monday I walked into the kitchen to discover Ammon on the counter, peeing on the countertop. Later that day we could be found in the pickup line at Abby's school with Ammon in the back of the car sitting on a potty seat while we waited.
Tuesday Ammon informed me, "(he) pooped in my (his) clothes". He then stuck his fingers in it and ran has hands through his hair.
Thursday he said he wanted to "poop on the grass".
We had a bit of a backslide Wednesday when Ammon decided it was no longer fun to have to get up and go to the bathroom all the time. I prayed about what to do with him and got the inspiration to have him 'target practice' with fruit loops in the potty. Kole showed him how it was done and Ammon has been doing great since! He has even tried to do #2 at the fruit loop too, he hasn't, but he hasn't done it in his undies either...
Last night I had a nightmare. We were somewhere public and I took Ammon to the potty and his urine hit inside the toilet and sprayed right back onto my pants making it look (and smell) like I had wet myself! So I had to take off my pants and wrap a blanket around myself. I was hoping people wouldn't notice my lack of clothing, but everyone did and I was humiliated. Pretty bad when the mother is having nightmares about potty training!
Here are some recent pics!

Dinner at our new house!

 We are officially home owners!

Pretty girl!

Abby lost her first tooth!!

Sleeping on the floor while waiting for our furniture to arrive.

Abby started 1st grade!

Unpacking!

Oklahoma

A lot has happened since I posted last! We have moved to Oklahoma! We bought a house and we love it here! We don't want to leave! Abby is going to first grade and Kole does preschool at home with me. They are both doing well! Abby had a bit of a difficult start in first grade but she is catching up now.
Here are some pictures!

Abby has learned to swim all by herself (with water wings)!

We went to a carnival! (Roger and Ammon in the back seat of the pink elephant)

(Abby and Kole in the back seat of the gray elephant)

(Abby in the second car in a white shirt, Kole and Roger right behind her. They both hated it.)

Daddy wouldn't let them ride the horses cause he couldn't be with both of them. It didn't occur to him that he could stand in between two horses.
