Happy Birthday Abby!

We can't believe our little girl is already 4 years old! Time sure does fly!! Here is a quick look back and some pictures from her birthday yesterday!
Right after being born!

Home from the hospital!

First birthday!! Also the day she started walking!

We celebrated her 2nd birthday down at grandma Miller's house, and I can't find any pictures from it, so I think Grandma must have them all! But here is a picture of her 2 weeks after her 2nd birthday, on the day Kole came home from the hospital!

Third birthday! Unfortunately none of these pictures are that great of shots.

Here is her 4th birthday!
Playing on their combined (Abby and Kole's) birthday gift!

I caught this picture while Kole was in the air about to plop onto Abby!

While Kole was napping Abby decided she loves Roxy SO much she doesn't ever want her to get lost!
So she covered her in address labels.

Also, during Kole's nap Abby and mommy made play dough then we spent hours playing with it!

Gift time!

Kole was upset that it wasn't his birthday! He wanted gifts too!

We just bought a cake this year, considering mommy's on bed rest.

Cake time!!

Yum!!

Happy Birthday Abby!!

Roger Appreciation Day! And more!

We decided to make a new holiday! We call it Roger Appreciation Day! Today we let Roger sleep in late.
We made signs!

Then we wrote nice things about him on post-it-notes and
stuck them all through out the hallway and on the stairs!

Then we went and woke him up with the signs!

Happy Roger Appreciation Day!

Here is some more recent pictures!

The kids' favorite game is to pretend to be dogs!

I know Ammon isn't due for another 3 months, but I already have his "nursery" (which is actually a corner of Abby's bedroom, they will be sharing a room) all set up with his clothes all washed and in his dresser all ready to go!

Everyone should have a dog to use as a chair, don't ya think?

And she sure comes in handy as a foot rest for those swollen, achy, pregnancy feet!
(Jealous much Jessica?)

The kids and I have caught a cold. The first illness any of us have had since last winter! Poor Kole seems to have the worst of it, we are assuming it is from the RSV he had as a baby, since the doctor told us that he would have colds and flus worse because of the damage the RSV did. Looks like we will be house bound for a while so we won't give it to anyone else.

I have some cute craft posts coming soon!
Hope all is well with all of you!

Big boy!

Here is Kole saying how old he is.
In case you can't tell what he's saying,
"I am almost, Umm no! (then he gabbers a bit and with a little tickling from Roger he finishes)Almost two!"
Yep, he sure is almost two! Little stinker!

Big girl!

Here is a video of Abby saying how old she is.

Woof Woof!

Some of you have never met Roxy, so let me introduce you... See that thing the kids are using as a bench?
That would be Roxy... She is our 2 year old Anatolian Shepherd... AKA "Mommy" to Abby (Abby pretends Roxy is her dog mommy)... In this picture the kids are pretending to talk on phones to their grandparents and aunt Jessica.

Apparently, Roxy likes the movie The Wizard of Oz. Random fact: Dorthy's last name is Gale! Ironically enough, a gale is a strong wind. I'm showing this movie to Abby for the first time right now, and (for those of you who have experienced Mountain Home, Idaho's wind) when Abby saw the part with the tornado she said, "Look mommy! It's like our wind!"

As you can see, Roxy is just a great big, ferocious beast! ;)

Recent Pictures

For New Years eve we let the kids stay up until 8:30pm watching a movie then we put them to bed and mommy and daddy played card games and had a nice evening together!
It is starting out to be a great year! Today Abby started Primary at church! She is going to have her first Primary activity on Saturday! It's a pj party and she is really excited! Mommy and daddy both are feeling old since she is now in Primary! Crazy how fast time flies!
Kolob is still in the same nursery class he has been in for 6 months now, but normally mommy or daddy have to go sit in it with him because he cries, but today he went right in like a big boy and stayed by himself! We were so proud of him! Our kids are growing up so fast!
We are looking forward to the next few months! Roger is turning 23 years old on Jan. 6th! Abby is turning 4 years old on Jan. 21st! Kole is turning 2 years old on Feb. 2! Roger will be starting ALS (Airmen Leadership School) on Jan. 7th and that will be over on Feb. 11th. After he graduates from that he will be ready to sew on Staff Sgt. That promotion should happen in April. And Ammon is due on April 19th! We found a way to get Ammon's crib and a rocking chair to fit into Abby's room with her furniture, with a decent amount of floor space left, so we decided to just stay here instead of attempt moving into a bigger house with Amy on bed rest. It should be a busy and exciting year for us!

This is the best part of Mountain Home... The sky. It has the best sunrises and sunsets ever! This is a picture I took out of our car window as we were leaving our house one morning.

Holding hands in the car :)

 The puppy dog look.

I asked Kole to go get a tissue and this is what he brought back. Lol!

Doggie (litterally) pile on daddy!!

MMM! Blueberries!

I looked out the window and what did I see?

With Mommy on bedrest the kids are being put to work!

I stole a picture of Roger in his blues while he was getting ready for work.

And Now... For the pregnancy belly pictures.
The first one is me at 4 weeks pregnant, to show the difference in size so far.

4 Weeks pregnant at 108 lbs

And now....
25 Weeks pregnant at 117 lbs.

Happy birthday to my wonderful husband! Hopefully he will have a good day! And we are happy work doesn't have him away from us for this birthday!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve we made a trip up to St. Luke's hospital in Boise and spent a while up there with Amy hooked up to their machines. It turns out Amy is having preterm labor/ premature labor (whichever you want to call it) and they put her on bed rest to try and keep baby Ammon in there as long as possible, since it is still 4 months before his due date. She has a doctor's appointment on the 6th so we will see if there is anything new then.

We held off celebrating Christmas morning for a few days until Amy's parents would be up here visiting, because the more the merrier! On Sunday night we acted out the Nativity with them. Here are some cute pictures!
Roxy makes a great donkey every year! Abby was Mary and Roger played Joseph.

Grandma Miller was the angel telling shepherd Kolob and his duck/sheep of the birth!

Shepherd Kole came to see them!

The next morning Santa had come!
6:30am Christmas morning! (we had been up since 5, but hung out in the bedroom so we wouldn't wake up the grandparents or aunt Jessica)
CANDY!!!!!

Opening presents! We got lots of fun stuff!!

Things to Remember

Dec. 22 Abby's To Do List- Use flashlight to drive our dog into an insane asylum. -Check!

Dec. 23 I just caught Kole sticking a black marker up his nose. Now his nostrils look HUGE!

Dec. 31 I was just getting ready to go to the bathroom and all of the sudden Abby burst in the door with the camera and snapped a picture....
