Happy Halloween a little early!

The kids with our jack-o-lanterns

Tonight we went to our church's dinner/trunk-or-treat

Pumpkin Patch

Today Roger had the day off because he has a few "comp. days" for getting a 91% on his CDCs test (Career Development Course) and 90% on his PT test (Physical Training).
So we went to 'Quey's Maze' pumpkin patch.
P.S. anyone wanting a patch to go to, they are really awesome! I'm glad we switched to them this year!

They have a huge thing of oats to play in!

And they have a corn box!

We picked some pumpkins!

We played in the hay maze!

And the total for the fun... $1 entrance fee (included all the things pictured)
And $15 for...
9 pumpkins
1 little white pumpkin
and 1 yummy casaba melon!
It was a lot of fun! Thanks to farmer Quey, his family and farm!

Oh Deer!

Saturday we went up to go grocery shopping in Boise, and had some family too!
We went to the MK Nature Center and when we pulled up there was 3 deer sitting right at the enterance to the walk!

And of course we had to get our normal picture of the hooting little owls!

And a cute picture of our cuties with the changing leaves!
Aren't they cute!?!

Going Off the Rails on the Crazy Train!

Lately... This has become our theme song. There is never a moments peace at our house...
A flooded bathroom, is a daily (some days hourly, not exaggerating) thing...
I have come to the conclusion that we shouldn't have a fish tank... Kole has managed to kill off all our fish and our crab... The snails survived though... But I'm getting a little tired of finding random objects sitting in the bottom of the tank...
We should also not own a couch.... The kids manage to keep gutting it, and I find the stuffing covering our living room floor....
We should also not own any toys, as they have just become 'a reason to fight and an object to bludger our sibling to death with'...
We should also not own food, because that ends up every where except our children's stomach.
We should not own a sink, because that makes for a really great sprinkler to wash the entire room with... And we can't stop until we have soaked everything within 10 feet of it.
We should not own anything that is used to color, paint, or draw...
(Below, one SMALL example)

We should not own an alarm clock. On a side note, who in the world finds 5am an acceptable time to start the day??
We should not own anything glass, for obvious reasons...
We shouldn't own carpet, or anything else that can be stained.
We shouldn't own toilets, or anything else that can flood... Like tubs....
We shouldn't own anything flammable... Or anything that can start a fire for that matter...
We shouldn't own a backyard that has any dirt, trees, bushes, bugs, or grass in it...
We should not own paper... but I guess that goes along with the "flammables"...
We should not own anything that can be used to plug a toilet...
We should not own anything with sharp edges...
We should not own anything that can be used to choke, suffocate, or strangle our siblings...
We should not own arms, or legs....
We should get the children's teeth removed...
We should not own the left side of mommy, which is numb, and which Kole has discovered if he pulls on that arm, mommy will fall over... Hilarious.
Shall I go on?
Yes, I am going off the rails on the crazy train.

Holes in Her Head!

Abby got her ears pierced!!! I know, Roger and I are crazy for getting them done, right?
But she wanted them done, even when Mommy tried and tried to talk her out of them...
And she did really good and she loves them!
This is the best picture I could get with my phone...

Date Night

Well, this weekend we weren't able to have a date night because Roger has been working 13 hours a day, and he is working now (Sat. night/Sun morning). But we were able to go up to Boise and go to the nature center for a little bit...

Then we went grocery shopping and went home so Roger could go to work...
This was a cool view of the sky on the drive home.
When the time comes for us to leave Mountain Home, I will really miss the sky here!
