Facebook Complainers

(First of all I have to warn you, this post is not actually me complaining...
This is me finding humor in just everyday things and I'm writing this with complete sarcasm. Don't read if you have a weak stomach.)

Is it just me or do any of you have those friends on facebook that post a complaining status every hour of every day? You know the posts, "I had to wait in line at the grocery store for 15 minutes today! Grocery shopping sucks!" What is up with that? I mean really... We have crap happen to us, just like you, that doesn't mean we want to hear you whine about yours all day.
You know who really has a reason to complain about their day? Me.
My husband is deployed. I get to hear his voice about once a month. We get to send about 10 text messages to each other at most a day, some days nothing at all.
Ammon and I have what I assume is a cold with body aches.
I woke up this morning after a severely sleep deprived night to find that my dog, that could be easily mistaken for an over sized Shetland pony and who has poop the size of a Clydesdale, is sick and had broken out of his kennel. While cleaning up approximately 15 gallons of the runs that he had made sure to get in every square inch of the sun room and all over the poles of the trampoline that are laying on the ground and even the wall, I took the dog kennel outside to spray it off with the hose, the hose faucet leaked and flooded the sun room, so then I had to clean that up. That took up the majority of my day... Then tonight after putting Abby and Kole to bed I found the horse getting rid of another 10 gallons of waste. Now, you just try to complain about your crappy day. Pun intended.

Swingin' Good Time

It's been nice weather, so we took the kids out back to swing.

Yes, that is a towel Ammon is wrapped in... But hey, it worked quite well! I should make him a blanket with a hood!

Flowers

The kids have been obsessed with sniffing the flowers Roger sent Abby for Valentine's.
So I took some pictures.

Our Valentine's Day

Our Valentine's Day started with me receiving a message from Roger saying:
"Sorry (he was apologizing for not getting a chance to message me sooner), we had an active shooter"
So as any good wife would, I wrote back, "A WHAT!?!"
No relpy.
I wrote again, "You had an active shooter!?!?"
No reply...
Then I received the rest of the message he'd sent...
"exercise."

Curse you, Air Force exercises!!!

This is what Abby recieved for Valentine's day!
The message said, "There are two women special in my life, mommy and you. I hope this brings you joy, and reminds you that you are a special little girl. Love, daddy"
Aww!!

Roger

Ok, so I was going to save this post for tomorrow, but then I just realized, it is Valentine's Day where Roger is... And plus, I'm up with a baby who's wide awake...
So here is a warning... This will probably be cheesy and make the majority of you gag/ throw up in your mouth...

Roger and I officially met about 6.7 years ago, have been together about 6 years, and been married for 5.5 years. ;)

I can't think of a more fitting pair of soul mates. As cheesy as it sounds, we WERE made for each other. I don't know what it was that drew me to him... Well, actually, that's a lie, I do know what drew me to him... I remember when I met him thinking, "Well he's not very cute... but he is SO funny!!"... That is what drew me to him... He and I run on the same sarcastic humor. It's not uncommon to hear us say things like, Amy: "I don't know why I married you." Roger: "It was for my money." Amy: "Ah, yes, that's right..."
Anyway, it didn't take us long to know we wanted to stay together forever. A year after we met, we were married at the decrepit old age of 16 and 18 years old...

We have since had 3 beautiful children.

I can honestly say, Roger completes me.
He is my better half.
He is my one and only.
He has given me a life full of laughter and joy, and he has shared with me trials and pain.

I'm not a perfect person. I'm far from perfect. I'm not the woman I hope to someday become... But Roger knows more about me than any person on the face of this earth, and he still thinks I'm wonderful. We aren't perfect people, but we are perfect for each other.

Thank you Roger, for being the most perfect soul mate ever. Thank you for being married to me for 5.5 years... Here's to another 94.5 years of marriage in this life and "to infinity and beyond"!
Now, for an inside joke...

Sorry I couldn't find a video that had the whole song on it... so here is the rest...

Happy Valentine's Day to my Hunny Bunny Sugar 'n Pie! I love you Roger Rabbit!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Here are some cute recent pictures. :)

I got a Valentine's Day gift in the mail the other day....
Bottom ring is my wedding ring... Top band is the one Roger gave me for Vday. Isn't he sweet! Thanks Roger! I hope you get your Valentine's package on time!

Happy Valentine's Day to you all! I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Recent

I just have a few recent pictures to post today... Our camera was malfuntioning so I had to send it in to be repaired... The deployment curse is holding true (any military spouse will know what I'm talking about, since it's a well known "fact" for us that when spouses leave, anything that can break/get sick/ go wrong, will...)

Anyway, on to the pictures...
Ammon got stuck between the couch and wall... Good thing babies are flexable!

What cute kids!
